July dog of the month is Mincin’ Machine for trainer Pat Lavis; Mincin’ Machine recorded 2 wins and a second from four starts to claim the title. The black dog recorded a strong win at Grafton over the 407 m in 22.84 which saw him start favourite in the Village Green Sprint over the carnival. Unfortunately interference when moving up strongly to the leaders saw him finish last. Pat then started Mincin’ Machine at Ipswich recording a good win over 431 m in the time of 25.06 leading for most of the journey. His final start for the month was at Albion Park on 30.7.15 where he was run down in the shadows of the post to finish second to Serene Star over 520 m.
It has been a great couple of months for Pat who has claimed consecutive monthly awards with the litter brothers Western Dave and Mincin’ Machine. Congratulations to Pat Lavis and his team, he picks up another bag of TRACK & TRAIN kibble for his efforts.
